The Story Behind
I am an international figure skating coach and choreographer, as well as a former Canadian figure skater. My background as an athlete strongly influences the way I work with skaters today - I understand the demands of the sport not only as a coach, but from personal competitive experience.
During my skating career, I trained in different high-level environments, including working with Igor Shpilband. This experience shaped my understanding of skating technique, structure, and performance quality, and continues to influence my approach to coaching and choreography.
My coaching philosophy is based on finding the right balance between strong technical foundations and artistic expression. I believe that long-term development in figure skating comes from understanding the body, refining movement quality, and helping each skater build an individual style rather than copying a standard model.
Throughout my professional career, I have worked in various international training environments, collaborating with coaches, choreographers, and specialists across Europe and beyond. This allows me to adapt my methods to each athlete while maintaining a structured, clear, and professional approach.
